That's all he wanted for his 2nd birthday. I actually used to make clothes for the doll. He even has a Steeler's sweatshirt and a karate uniform. "Abe" now sits in a place of honor (my childhood rocking chair) in our family room!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33226151.post-1165593485227223142006-12-08T10:58:00.000-05:002006-12-08T10:58:00.000-05:00Great story, Meryl! I couldn't even play the old Nintendo games. It's supposed to be a hoot as long as you hold onto the remote (there's been some reports of injuries to person and TVs when the little suckers have gone flying).Working Stiffshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03270595837074553752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33226151.post-1165590128569377232006-12-08T10:02:00.000-05:002006-12-08T10:02:00.000-05:00Meryl, you made me laugh. Yes, yes, yes! Perfect...Meryl, you made me laugh. Yes, yes, yes! Perfectly sensible parents become insane at Christmas. One year I mentioned my children might like Cabbage Patch dolls. Everyone in the family went crazy while my mother made rude remarks about how foolish we were. My sister scoured stores in the 5 boroughs of NYC. My in-laws scouted every Toys R Us from here to Florida. And on Christmas Day, my children had their Cabbage Patch dolls! Guess who found them?--My mother, of course. She telephoned FAO Schwartz in New York every day for weeks until they finally broke down and sold her 2.

Hope YOU enjoy the Wiiii!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33226151.post-1165589430096019972006-12-08T09:50:00.000-05:002006-12-08T09:50:00.000-05:00Congratulations on a successful quest, Meryl.
