I'm about 3/4 of the way through a revision right now. I've pretty much been spending every waking minute on it, even when I'm not sitting at my laptop. When I started it over a month ago, I thought I'd be done in two weeks.
Yeah. Right. You can stop laughing now.
I don't know about you, but literally everything I do takes longer than I think it will. I usually have some kind of to do list going that never gets completed. Something always gets transferred to the next list. Anyone else have that problem?
Anyway, I'm having fun rewriting some things, adding some scenes, and deleting others. It's probably good I like my characters as much as I do.
So, forgive the short post today, but I've got to get back to work. The revision awaits.

Joyce, around here, all ten-minute jobs take two hours. It's Dashofy's Law.
Good luck with those revisions.
Joyce, don't worry. I'm on for tomorrow--with, ahem, a partner. Our post is long, so we'll make up for your brevity today.
Dashofy's Law must be similar to Tremel's Law.
Thanks, Ramona!
You go girl! Set those unreasonable goals, you never know, one day they may be easier to reach than ever.
Besides, the comments will make up for the brevity, am I right?
Take care...
I agree! My list grows longer and longer. Right now I'm so confused as to what I should have done yesterday, but now need to do today, that I'm ready to scrap the whole darned list!
But, hey, enough about my problems. :-)Good luck with your revisions!
Thanks, Cindy.
Laurie, I have the same problem. When the list gets too long, I do end up tossing it and starting over.
I so sympathize. I got a new blackberry and it's driving me nuts, never mind instructions require a magnifying glass. I either haven't written or barely got 10 words done since. Can't sleep the stupid thing keeps bleeping. WAS that you guys posting?????
Went to the kitchen for dinner and discovered that no one cooked. Huh.
Good luck.
